A few weeks before your wedding date you will fill out our wedding questionnaire to help us prepare for every minor detail, this is usually followed by a phone call to run quickly through the details together.
The Wedding Day ~ Morning Preparation
We usually arrive at the brides preparation location at least an hour before the ceremony. This gives us an opportunity to shoot casual candid shots of the preparation as well as detail shots of the flowers, shoes etc.
This is a good opportunity to create some beautiful portraits of the bride and bridesmaids as well as some family shots before the ceremony.
We will also cover the groom and groomsmen’s preparation for no extra charge if they are located nearby.
We usually leave for the ceremony about 15mins before the bride to capture some candid shots of the groom and groomsmen in the church before the ceremony and also the brides arrival.
The Wedding Day ~ The Ceremony
We begin by introducing ourselves to the priest/celebrant to discuss the ceremony and where we will get the best shots.
The ceremony is shot candidly in a discreet and unobtrusive manner, with no staged shots.
After the signing of the registry, there is usually a good opportunity to make a group shot of the bridal party on the alter.
The Wedding Day ~ After the Ceremony
We capture the wedding couple leave the ceremony and greets the guests as they leave.
This is usually a good opportunity to capture candid shots of the guests and bridal party as they gather and chat outside.
After the couple has greeted all the guests we usually head to a pre-arranged scenic location with the bridal party.
The focus here is to capture fun and relaxed photos of the bridal party as well as creative shoots of the bride and groom.
The Wedding Day ~ The Reception
Before the dinner at the reception is usually the best time to gather the families together for some formal photographs.
If the bride and groom have chosen a package with complete coverage of the day, we also cover the speeches as well as the guests at the reception.
We also spend a few minutes later on with the bride on groom for some portraits with a focus on creative lighting and composition.
We usually end the night after the floor has filled up after the first dance and the party is in full swing!
After the Wedding
Within a few weeks of the wedding date, the bride and groom will receive their wedding photographs.
We provide the couple with all the high resolution images in colour, sepia and black and white.
We also provide a low resolution set for emails and social networks such as facebook.
The wedding couple then choose their favourite photographs if their package includes a wedding album.
We then design a draft album with the photo selection and email you a proof in pdf for you to approve.
Once we have may any alterations if requested the wedding album is sent to be bound and print.
please allow up to once month for album production.
